CRITTERS SEEN IN CORRALES BOSQUE THE LAST TEN DAYS

The last ten days or so there have been large numbers of Sandhill Cranes coming into the Bosque.  I have seen a few scattered around a little earlier, but the big flights have been coming in recently.  The first shot shows a pretty good flight of Cranes.  The second shows a closeup of three Cranes and a Canada Goose.  The next shows a couple of Cranes doing their somewhat humorous courting dance of jumping up in the  air and flapping their wings.

I got a pretty good shoT of a Coyote on the other side of the clear ditch stalking some ducks that are in an irrigation ditch. He looks pretty surprised and a little annoyed to have been spotted.  A pretty nice picture of a Belted Kingfisher with some good fall colors around him.

The last two feature a landscape with mist rising off the Rio Grande with lots of fall colors, and a shot of  Northern Harrier, a first for me.
