POLICE, RESPONDING TO A BREAK-IN, FIND STOLEN VEHICLES, METH AND A TEEN-AGED GIRL dentist Albuquerque
Metro police responded to a break-in at some rental property, and found that Jason Barber, a previous tenant who had been evicted, had accumulated several stolen vehicles, some methamphetamine and a teen-aged girl.
Barber, previously arrested multiple times for theft of motor vehicles, acted amazed about the vehicles and the drugs. The teen said that she had not used drugs or participated in sex with Barber.
Barber was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, five counts of receiving and transferring stolen motor vehicles, residential burglary, and trafficking a controlled substance.
Barber is being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center.
